Winter is here

Winter has finally come back to us with a very cold welcome. SLC, UT is getting more snow than the actual resorts! It is time to kick it in to gear and get the winter legs back. you can find the My Life crew at Brighton, The Canyons, PCMR and around the city hitting Urban Spots. if you find us, who knows what will happen.. you will probably be welcomed with a lot of Whiskey. we will be posting more as the winter progresses and as we get more footy! It's 11:30 am, I'm just waking up after My Life met together yesterday, with the absence of Garrett who is in Hawaii for two weeks, jealous yes, at the Yellowfin for some Wednesday hammertimes, DJ Superb and fun with friends, including JP and Amanda from Skullcandy and Austin one of the owners of Saga, to start off an amazing night. Across the room sat Zion I who enjoyed there dinner and the presence of our good friend Dj Superb. This only started our journey towards the show they played at Urban Lounge later that evening. After dinner and large amounts of sake we made our way with Austin to Saga's new warehouse behind 4Frnt. Check it out at Saga Outerwear, this place is well thought out and these guys are killing the scene. Much love to Saga. Beware of next years line up, all I have to say about it is WOW! After Saga we traveled to Urban Lounge with an excited anxious feeling itching to see Zion I. I personally have never seen them live before but have always heard good things about them and their stage presence. The opening acts were good but they were no Eminem. So I'll skip over their presence and get straight to Zion I. HOLY FUCK!!! I don't go to many hip hop shows but damn did they bring the noise to Urban and made me realize I need to follow hip hop a little bit more. Maybe it was the wild drunk crowd or the fact that people were smoking marijuana in the venue and the scent of that sticky icky started flowing through the air that gave them a rush on stage but when Silly Puddy came on the crowd went wild and the girls were getting dirty. Personally Silly Puddy is one of my favorite songs and if you haven't listened to it check it out at Hypem. The last song they played, Bird's Eye View, was phenomenal and an impressive song to end with.
